Spend the day exploring quaint and historic Canal Fulton. Stop in Keillor’s, A Teddy Bear Shoppe, and browse their amazing selection of, you guessed it, teddy bears and pick out a new buddy for your little one. Or, for a trip down memory lane, head over to The Toys Time Forgot and find your favorite childhood board game to play with your kids. They also have an awesome selection of comic books and action figures.
After a little shopping, stop in the Dragonfly Tea Room for lunch. The Tea Room is not just for ladies, enjoy lunch options such as the southwest santa fe salad, cuban ham panini or tuscan chicken panini. For the kiddos, their menu includes items like a flower-shaped PB&J and smiley pizza. Call the day before and schedule a children’s tea party that includes refreshments, scones, finger sandwiches, cheese cubes, crackers, veggies, decorate your own cupcake, a craft and other goodies!
If it’s not too cold, let the kids burn-off some energy and take a walk along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. Before you head out of town, stop in Canal Fulton Glassworks located just off the Towpath Trail and warm up with a free glass-blowing demonstration. Demonstrations are offered on Saturdays between noon and 5 p.m.

Bird seed, a fire and warm beverage are provided. My son is still talking about hand-feeding the birds last year!
