The annual IX Trick or Treat Street is a family friendly non-scary Halloween event for kids ages 10 and younger. There is so much fun to be had, including, trick-or-treating, amusement rides and attractions, live entertainment, food and more.
This past weekend our family had an opportunity to attend the event. It was a great experience and something we hope to do again next year.
Amusement Park Rides at IX Trick-or-Treat Street
Upon entering the center we were greeted with festive Halloween decorations and were told that the rides were to the left and the trick-or-treating to the right. We choose to conquer the rides first.
Our kids have only been on 3-4 amusement park rides before, so seeing all the rides was thrilling for them. There were approximately 15 rides at the center and the kids were able to go on all of them. Their favorites included the helicopter ride, mini roller coaster, super slide, scrambler, and bumper cars.
Even though the majority of the rides were only for children, we got to join in on the fun by riding the yo-yo, super slide, merry go round, bumper cars and the Ferris wheel.
The Indoor Ferris Wheel was by far our favorite ride of them all. The anticipation started as we were pulling into the parking lot because we could see it sticking out of the roof.
For our ride, we were one of the first to board. That meant we got to stop at the top as they were loading the other carts. Even though the day was gray and rainy the view was great, and we got to watch multiple planes take off and land!
Trick-or-Treating at IX Trick or Treat Street
After we finished with the rides we headed over to the other side of the building to do some trick-or-treating. The kids liked the decorations and there were able to trick-or-treat indoors which meant we avoided the cold and rainy weather outside. A definite plus in my eyes!
We easily spent a little over 3 hours at the center enjoying both the amusement rides and the candy. If you're looking for a fun and unique way to celebrate trick-or-treat I recommend visiting IX Trick or Treat Street.
