Many NE Ohio families vacation at Myrtle Beach each year. I remember visiting as a child and now I have the pleasure of watching my children experience the ocean. We truly enjoy our Myrtle Beach trips, so I thought we would share some of the fun things to do with kids in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in case you have the opportunity to travel there.
All About the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel
Take a ride on the 200ft Skywheel! Not only do you experience the fun of being 200ft high you also get to experience the beautiful views up and down the Atlantic coast.
Admittedly, Ferris Wheels frighten me. In fact, I can't remember the last time I was in one. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed my ride on The SkyWheel. Each gondola is fully enclosed and doesn't rock back and forth. You will feel completely safe inside of it.
Even though it is fully enclosed, the top, sides and bottom are see through, so you get an amazing view in every direction!
I was also impressed with all the precautions that are taken to ensure the completely safety on The SkyWheel. Every inch of the SkyWheel is touched and cleaned each morning. It's a 4 hour long process that they take very seriously.
Nightly Light Show
Each night around dusk, the SkyWheel begins its nightly light show. There are over 1 million LED lights and the display can be seen from every direction. It's an amazing display!
