Trains are magical! And you can see a trio of trains set up in a gorgeous window display at the American Legion Post 170 in downtown Wadsworth (125 Main Street, Wadsworth) at your convenience all Christmas season.
All About Downtown Wadsworth Holiday Train Display
The beautiful and captivating window display is available for visitors of all ages to enjoy 24/7 beginning in late November through Jan. 5, 2018. It was created and designed in 2016 by four talented people with the Northern Ohio Garden Railway Society and is now a staple for downtown Wadsworth's holiday events.

With the push of a button, kids can start the three trains themselves, then watch them race — and hear them chug — around the tracks, all while Christmas music plays. There's even a Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends train on display!
It's a family tradition we do at least once (usually more) in December!
Helpful Tip: If there's a parking spot right in front of the Legion, you can push the button and then watch from the comfort and heat of your own vehicle! We don't know of any other window train display in the area so this is an extra special treat.
How the Display is Created

A Downtown Wadsworth Tour
While you're in the quaint downtown area of Wadsworth, stop by the beautiful gazebo and Christmas tree.

Then, I'd suggest eating the most delicious breakfast (or lunch) at Valley Cafe, open daily from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. Their service and food will equally impress you!
Walk a few storefronts down and enjoy one of the most delicious tasty treats from Ann's Pastry Shop. Ann's Pastry Shop has received numerous awards for its desserts — and they offer a few allergen-friendly options, too!
After that, you could stop by the beautiful Thurber's Jewelers and meet Tom and his wife, the owners. Who knows, you may even find a shiny gift for that extra special person on your Christmas list!
Perhaps you want a good book at a deep discount for a great cause? Stop by The Bookshelf and see their incredible selection. Books are only a few dollars a piece, at most. Proceeds help teach literacy and English as a second language throughout Medina County.
Maybe you want to try the BEST hot chocolate you've ever had? Or listen to live music on select evenings? I'd suggest trying Sonnets out. Their fantastic selection of coffee, lattes, teas, the BEST hot chocolate you will ever drink! They offer live and local entertainment many evenings and the amount of talent in this small town will blow you away! Plus, downtown Wadsworth is gorgeous at night, too.

There are several cute shops you can peruse while visiting downtown Wadsworth. Among them: Three Roses Gift Boutique (it's the pink store on the square), Grapevines and Burlap and Opal Dragonfly Boutique.
Right off the square is a fun craft shop: Kathryn's Craft Closet! The McDougals own this beautiful place to create ceramics, needle felting, string art, canvas paintings and so much more!
You could spend a whole day exploring the beauty of downtown Wadsworth — and I hope you choose to!
