About Tuscora Park
Kids will be entertained with the variety of playgrounds, all within a short walking distance from one another. While other features of the park are only open seasonally, the playgrounds are open year round.
Each of the playgrounds are different and all have a variety of swings, slides, monkey bars and climbing structures. One of the playgrounds even looks like a huge train.
Near the center of the park is a large enclosed public swimming pool. There are three different pools, a large olympic-size pool with several lanes dedicated to swimming laps, a pool with both a high and low diving boards, and a small kiddie pool that is enclosed for safety.
On duty life guards monitor the pools and there are 10 minute safety breaks every hour. You are welcome to bring there own food to enjoy and there is also a concession stand where you can purchase food and drinks.
The pools are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and you can purchase a season pass or pay to swim for the day.
During the summer months families can enjoy the vintage amusement park rides including a carousel, children's roller coaster, children's train, small Ferris wheel, swings and other kiddie rides. You can pay $1 per ride or purchase 10 rides for $8.
Insider Tip: Bring Cash because they don't accept credit cards
In addition to the kiddie rides, there is also a miniature golf course that only cost $3 per person.

My mom went to Tuscora Park when she was young, I went in the 40’s. I took my kids in the 60’s. I took my grandkids in the 80’s and I’ve been taking my great grandkids for 12 years! My family from Seattle thought it was one of the best parks they’ve ever been to. One of my fondest memories was skating there in the 50’s. I love Tuscora Park!
What is the age range for the rides?
I have five children raging from the ages of 2 – 14 and we made several trips to this park this past summer it is a very inexpensive place to spend the day with family, the only problem that we had with the park was the staff didn’t seem like they wanted to be there, not many smiles from the employees that were running the rides. And don’t forget to take bread or crackers to feed the ducks, and enjoy a sno cone 🙂

The pictures I have seen of the new Tuscora Park is quite an improvement over the park I grew up around as a kid in the 40’s . I’m looking forward to seeing it again the next time I visit New Philadelphia. Keep up the keep work.
