Schneider Community Park is a large 42 acre park located in Plain Township (Stark County). The park has many features including an ADA accessible playground, reservable shelter, pond, a frisbee golf course, dog park, sled-riding hill and more.
All About Schneider Community Park and Playground
The playground area is well maintained and contains various plastic slides, climbing structures, activities (i.e. Tix Tax Toe, Mini Games) and a rock climbing wall.
There is also a toddler area with smaller equipment geared toward little kids.
In addition, there is a large swing set that has both regular and accessible swings. I do not believe there were any infant swings available. If you’ve been to the park and can confirm please leave a comment below. Thanks!
Located next to the playground is a large covered, reservable picnic shelter.
A short walk from the playground is a nice sized pond. We enjoyed walking the path around the pond and spotting the frogs sitting near the waters edge.
Look, it’s Kermit!
And for those who want to try frisbee golf, there is a nine hole course throughout the park.
