The playground consists of three unique play structures each with slides, bridges, ladders and walls to climb and play on. There are also two swing sets with regular, infant and accessible swings. In addition there is a section of the playground with exercise equipment. This is nice because parents can get a little exercise while watching their kids play.
In addition to the playground, there are many other things to do at Dover City Park. Bring along some frisbees and challenge your friends and family to a game of Frisbee Disc Golf, take a stroll along one of the walking paths or pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic in the grass.
During the summer months, spend some time swimming at Dover City Pool. The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and offers affordable daily admission rates. If visiting the park during the winter, check out the large hill that is perfect for sled riding.
