Best Things to do in April in Ohio – Spring Flowers, Waterfalls and More

April showers won’t stop us – it’s going to be a fun month with longer and warmer days. Hooray! While enjoying the beginning of spring, we’ll also celebrate Easter and Earth Day this month. Get out and explore with our picks for best events and things to do April.

See Spring Flowers in Bloom

Tulips and Daffodils and Daisies, Oh My! Spring in Northeast Ohio is bursting with color that you don't want to miss. Plan a trip to see the Cherry Blossoms at Wade Oval, head to Lake View Cemetery's Daffodil Hill to find find 100,000 daffodils covering the three-acre hill, take a short one mile hike on Daffodil Trail at Furnace Run Metro Park or head to one of the AMAZING Botanical Gardens in Northeast Ohio.

Celebrate Earth Day

Try a New Park or Playground

This month you can finally visit the park without your winter gear in tow! Teach the kids to play pickleball or tennis at Christmas Run Park in Wooster.
