Taking a stroll among the flowers is a great way to appreciate the beauty of creation. Find 100,000 daffodils covering the three-acre hill in the heart of Lake View Cemetery. Enjoy the beautiful cherry blossom trees that line Wade Lagoon. Hike the one-mile Daffodil Trail at Furnace Run Metropark and discover the 40,000 daffodils that line the trail. Come inside and learn stormwater management methods through hands-on activities and displays. From an interactive, light-up map to live native animals throughout the building, you’ll get an immersive experience. Outside you can explore a variety of trails from paved paths to more challenging trails leading to scenic overlooks. The center also features a Wetland Discovery room designed for children’s play and a nature viewing room with a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows.
