Cedar Point Shores Water Park

So many waterslides to choose from at Cedar Point Shores Water Park

Cedar Point Shores Waterpark is 18 acres of water fun! The park includes large slides (try out the 6-story plunge) for adults and adventurous kids and also has an area specifically designed for younger kids with small-scale slides and splash pads. There are many chairs and tables where you can sit back and relax poolside.

Clay’s Park Resort – Jellystone Park

Huge slide at Clay’s Park

Clay’s Park is a HUGE lake filled with things to keep you playing in the water all day long, with giant inflatables, zip lines, a log roll, rings, and even a HUGE (and extremely fast) water slide. Of course, the waterpark is just the tip of the iceberg. They also have camping (RV, tent camping), cabin rentals, miniature golf, a fishing lake, an indoor pool, playgrounds, restaurants, and more. Stay for one of the themed weekends, or enjoy a getaway for an entire week.

Baylor Beach Park

Water slide at Baylor Beach Park

The waterpark consists of a two-acre lake with a variety of water features including diving boards, a two-story water slide, a log roll, and some smaller water slides in the shallow end perfect for toddlers and beginner swimmers. The two diving boards are located in the deepest part of the lake (12 feet deep). Next to the diving boards is the popular two-story water slide.  In addition to the lake, Baylor Beach also offers a family campground, shelter rentals for group picnics, miniature golf, a concession stand, and more. Akron Canton Jellystone Park: Clearwater Park

Jellystone’s big blue waterslide

Akron Canton Jellystone Park has one of the largest swimming pools in the area. It’s more than 550,000 gallons of water and includes a 144-foot water slide, diving board (12-foot), toddler area, and a zero-depth entrance around the perimeter. Swimming isn’t the only thing you can do as they also have a miniature golf course, delicious ice cream, and a large campground.

Zoombezi Bay

Zoombezi Bay, a 22.7-acre water park operated by the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, is a summer destination designed for all age groups. The park’s attractions include the newly renovated SoundSurfer, the first waterslide in the country to incorporate light and audio effects, and Baboon Lagoon, an imaginative, multi-level play structure with a 1,000-gallon bucket dump. Zoombezi Bay also features 17 state-of-the-art water slides, wave and kiddie pools, action and lazy rivers, private cabanas, and more.

Maca Pool Water Park

The Maca Pool complex comprises a 250,000-gallon water park with a 6-lane lap pool, enclosed flume slide, speed slide, zero-depth entry area, Shamu kiddie slide, large barrel splash zone, and teardrop bucket dumps.

Pioneer Waterland & Dry Fun Park

A waterpark, kids’ fun zone, and sports arena all in one. The water park has multiple 6-story-high waterslides, a lazy river tube ride, an inflatable obstacle course, and much more. In addition to the waterpark, there is a miniature golf course, a driving range, a bank shot basketball course, and a basketball arcade. Pay for the day or rent a campsite and stay overnight.

Uhrichsville Water Park

Two large slides at Uhrichsville Waterpark

The water park has something for all ages. The two-story water slides are fun for older children, while the zero-depth entry shallow section is great for toddlers. For parents with older children who can go off on their own, you can easily watch the entire pool area from the comfort of the chairs (Note: sit on the side near the deep end to get the best view).

Lorain County Metroparks Splash Zone

The main pool features two 24-foot-high waterslides, tumble buckets, 4 lap lanes, water jets, a smaller slide feature with water cannons, and a separate tot pool with a mushroom waterfall. Plus, there are two areas for kids – a tot pool (perfect for the littlest guests) and a water splash area with slides, tumble buckets, spray features, and more.

Water Works Aquatic Center is located in Cuyahoga Falls and is a great summer destination for all ages. Troy Aquatic Park

Cool off this summer by visiting the Troy Aquatic Park facility and enjoy two giant water slides, a drop slide, a diving board, a heated baby pool, interactive water play equipment, a zero-depth entrance, and giant shade structures. Sunbathers can enjoy the large grassy areas and the lounge chairs throughout the facility, or if you prefer to avoid the direct sun, there are ten giant Funbrellas. Concessions are also available.

The Watering Hole Safari & Waterpark (Monsoon Lagoon)

Hiawatha Water Park

The Water Park/Pool includes a toddler activity, an Olympic-size swimming pool with eight swimming lanes, one-meter diving boards, a 30-foot body slide, a playground area with many tunnels, platforms, water jets, and a raindrop fountain. Wapakoneta Waterpark

The Wapakoneta WaterPark is a municipal swimming pool featuring a lap pool with diving boards as well as an activity pool featuring a zero-depth entry. The activity pool has a speed slide as well as a twisting slide.

    Definitely Holiday Sands ( although I’m sure there were more parks with rings 🙂
    On FB they have a page dedicated to this park . Brings back all those fun childhood memories …

    Back in the 80’s and maybe even in the early 90’s there was a Water Park in North East Ohio that had a rings course across the lake, where you would swing from ring to ring across the entire lake; does anyone know the name of that Park, if it’s still open and if the rings course is still there??

      That was holiday sands and its been closed for years. There is a place with rings called Willow Lake in Champion, Ohio that you could check out though.

      clays park has a ring attraction where you swing from ring to trying not to fall into the lake.

      There was also Pine Lake in Kent, but that has been closed for a long time now
